Hi, my name is Jean and I know this is a commercial landscaping forum but I'm in need of some serious help. My lawn (done by me) is in horrid conditions with these weeds that are driving me nuts, I took some sample pictures on what they look like to show you guys, please help!

    What's your location??

Almost looks like bermuda grass, or some other warm season grass that has started to go dormant.

definitely looks like a bermuda or bentgrass that has started to grow in and then burned out. When its green does it match your lawn? or is it a lighter color? Try just cutting out the area or heavily thatching and raking it out, then re-seed with a seed that matches your lawn
