here is what our service calls today had us deal with...

first, here is a home in the upper six figures...24 zones, 2 timers, 2 tap outs...what a mess.

here is a pic of the first plumbing tap out.

notice the purple primer all over the siding...nice, huh?

oh, yeah, did you notice all the pvc couplings...how many times did that set up break?

here is another beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. homes here go for high upper six figures. the homeowner needed irrigation in the planting boxes. there were no conduits. how was the irrigation contractor going to get pipes into this area?

do you think this was the right thing to do? would you do this in an upper six figure home?

I know nothing about irrigation system installation except to say that if that was my home and they did that kind of work they would not have been paid for their services.

People wonder why this industry has such a poor reputation.

Slackers doing work like that is why.

Good Gawd!!....is all that PVC above ground legal over there? Around here, above ground has to be in copper. Anyways, what a mess! I just replaced a 8 valve manifold for a guy that didn't have it properly winterized. All the 1" poly from the valves looked like spaghetti. What a nightmare.

Those pictures of the poly lines going up into the nice rock terrace are hilarious. I have never once had trouble selling people with similar setups some nice 1/2" copper setups in discrete locations.

Classic!! I've worked on a few like that as well. What are people thinking. I would never have paid the company either.
