Here's some carnage for you

    This is what's left of a 20 hp Kohler Command on a Dixie Chopper. The customer said he checked the oil that morning and it was ok. While he was mowing a yard, he said he started to hear a rattling noise, but continued to use it because he said he thought he just ran over a dog leash.....Well you can see what the noise was. Look how the piston turned around in the cylinder. The camshaft broke right in half and the connecting rod looks like it's now turning the cam. New motor should be here in a couple of days.

    By the look of the oil, Color of the governor and oil pump gear doesn't look like he kept up with oil changes. Also a rod break up close to the piston in most cases is a sign of over rev....

    Yea, and not to mention the air filter was clogged solid

    Thats one thing I have never understood....

    These guy's go out and spend BIG money for these commercial units and neglect the piss out of them and run them in the ground all the while crying junk when something does happen. :dizzy:

    And always ask "this is still covered under warranty right?" :laugh:
    Rob if they knew how to take care of them we would be out of work.:hammerhead:

    It's this kind of thing that keeps us working and $$$$$$$$$$ in our pockets.

    What's the problem. Looks like it will run on 1 cylinder! LOL!!!
