how do you like your propane mowers
In second year and I think I get a few more HP with propane. I like the rear
mounts it makes the front ride light. That vangard is a beast.
CNN came over and asked me to stop mowing for 20 minutes. They were doing a follow up story on the plane bomber that hit the IRS building a couple years back. This is what is left of his burned out home. Guess the big
Vangard was toooo loud for them. I was on the other side of the cement fence
Who pays to get these holding ponds cut, how would you get into that?
These holding ponds are normally mowed by the city. But since the city is straped for money they only mow a few times a year. The HOA gets pressure from homeowners close to them to mow. So it is part of your contract with the HOA to do the ponds. But on the other hand many of these ponds are not mowed by the city and are part of the mowing contract. The ponds are like the golden egg. They fill up with sediment and the city inspects and then we get to clean that up. We got a $7K bid on one of our HOA properties right now. It is totally gated so we will have to take the
stuff out with wheel barrows thru the backyard of a homeowner.
Wanta guess what brand of blower is the best seller in our market?
do you own all of those
Do not buy the Echos with the small filter bolted to the carb like you see in the picture. Only buy the larger top mount filters. The small filters have issues with getting oil on them from the carb. The top mount filters may last a year or longer but the small ones may be ruined by oil in as little as a month. I switched my carb mount blowedrs to top mount with about $45 in parts. Hopefully Echo put better coils in the newer blowers. My three Echo blowers and one Shin clone need new coils about every 12 months but it's covered by the warranty for like because it's such a well known problem.
no it was a local dealer getting ready for spring sales show.
how many hours do you get per tank of propane? Do you notice any difference in power? Any idea on conversion costs?
