New here, though it would be a great place to get info as I expand my business
Great place to live! Although there must be plenty of snow to be mowing atm?
It did snow twice this year but usually we don't get any at all. At the moment it's flooded out, but that should be dry in a day or two.
Guess there may be more to come. I'm envious. How long u been in business, what equip are you using? My wife and I have been twice, hired a camper van and travelled around, missed out on seeing Milford due to the snow closing rd in. You have any mauri friends, love the hangi!

Wow! Interesting stuff.... Would love to hear more about landscaping in the New Zealand winter!
Hi, I mostly just mow lawns and trim hedges. Have been doing this for one year and 8 months. I have 100 lawn clients now, will eventually sell the business then reinvest into mostly doing hedges.
Yip I have a some hungi's but not for a while and my accountant is maori yes.
Can't wait until spring!
Gee your doing well then! Would love to see some pics of the properties you service & just the place in general are you right in the city or in suburbs.
My website is dansmowing.co.nz. There are some photos there, do need more though but can be a effort to take before and after photos. Christchurch is a city of 400,000 and I can go right around it but usually stick to a few areas or one side of town during the same day.
I like the small lawns!
Hey danmow13, I'm from Wanganui NZ! Now running my own lawncare business in the States. Good to see another Kiwi on Lawnsite!
