Does anyone mow highway medians for the city? If so do you use any kind of mowing ahead signs?
I am bidding some city work and it is specified that you use 36" signs. The last companies that did the mowing did not use them but I want to be as safe as possible.

we get them from a local guy.. i think united rentals sells them as well, id make phone calls and find someone local because i bet they would rape you on the shipping if you got them mailorder..
  6. If the city requests the signs, then get them. If you want to keep the contract, you'll have to abide by their rules. It's a legal matter, afterall the city is liable to the public. We do medians and even though we don't have to put signs up, we still have to use mulcher mowers so that nothing will fly into the path of vehicles or walking public.

Try United Rental then look at Northern Tools or Tractor Supply Co.
