:blob3: last week we had alot of moisture cant evern say rain, lots of fog and mist the turf was wet from morning to night, for about 4-5 days. cut the lawns this week and the red thread is out of control, we started appling fungi and upped the nitrogen in our app. some lawns already look much better, need some sun to dry things up, and hopefully for more than 1 day. Noticeably more than most years. We too are applying some fungicide w/ our 2nd round of fertilizer.

Yep, same thing here on Long Island. Round 1 was Lesco 19-3-7 w/pendimethalin 30% SCU. .75lbs N/1000.

Will probably switch to formulation with 25% N for next year with 1# N/1000.

No fungicide being applied, just a good shot of N to knock-out the red thread.
