I have a Honda HR214 that the blade brake clutch won't disengage. The cable isn't stuck.Could it be the return springs have gotten weak?Maybe gunk keeping it from releasing? Thanks,Richard

When the clutch cable is activated there is a three ball bearing assembly that cams up to engage the clutch. I would check for debris or a small piece of a branch that may be causing one of the ball bearings to not release. Otherwise I would suspect a gummed up assembly.
