While was at my real job today I got to think about vanscaper rigs and how much of a pain it would be if your truck broke down in the middle of the week or for something major.

After looking at etwman's S-n-G hardscape body I was thinking about the feasability of making a box like this with tie downs for a couple z-turns, trimmers, blowers, fuel, hand tools, etc. This would allow you to mow say two or three days a week and then have a dump, flatbed, container, or whatever for the rest of the week. Also if you have multiple trucks and one breaks down in the middle of your route you can bring the other truck out and get back to work.

You'd want something with a high gross vehicle weight so I was thinking about running a 5500or similar size truck.

    Comment, concerns, improvements are welcome.

It would be nice but it starts to get expensive quick, thats why most people just use trailers, or have a backup trailer incase the truck( van body) breaks down. those hook-lift systems cost like $10 000 or more depending on the weight rating
