My hour meter says change oil. how do i get ride of that. I already changed it. Thanks
sendec flash alert hour meters
It appears it will flash that for 2-4 hours depending on the model you have....assuming it is a sendec.
Alot ot them are "dummy" lights and will blink for a period of time and then stop. It is just supposed to alert you of being due for a oil change. Most of them are not resetable.
Mine flashes for a couple of hours every 50. I remember some gravely z's had a box that displayed a bunch of stuff as well as hours, called Q-something.
I have the same annoyance, it is only helpful if you change it at the exact hour it is "due" If you get off by a few hours each time, it is worthless. I use a labelmaker and print off oil change hours and stick them where I can see them everytime I get on a machine.
