How much do you guys think is good $/hr for a lawn crew foreman. Assuming he is good, responsible, has a good deal of experience, can handle small repairs one equipment (barring serious engine work, etc)...Always kinda wondered what others paid/ average maybe.

I would say $12-$18.00 depending on level of experience, and your market.

If he's good, he should make out by the job.

well I think that would depend on how much you make...I mean how valuable is he to you: do you make $100k/year and he's an irreplaceable part?...do you make $30,000/year and he only helps marginally.....how many hours does he work?...does he have a tendency to slack off if you're not watching? If he's a great employee I'd pay him as much as you're comfortable with....or maybe a little more. If he's not so great I'd back off a little bit. Good/great employees are hard to come-by. In short, I'd pay him what he's worth to you.
