Showed up at the house (set to be done in August) and the pavers are awful (or so I think) I get the sense the builder thinks I'm overreacting but could care less how he "feels" I used a long board to show the obvious "waves" "gaps" etc which while standing back your brain just sees this and senses that aesthetically it's off. Closer inspection reveal an uneven side view where the middle sinks and it's higher on the edges and where they meet the columns. First vertical row against the house is higher, slopes oddly down but not at a consistent angle, and it's not flat/even. They also spilled paint and plaster on them.....I'm not a construction or engineering guy. But my suspicion is that the "footer" around the perimeter of the lanai that was poured with my foundation had lumpy uneven top. I think the sub contracted paver guys didn't have a chip tool and were lazy. Placed them over uneven footer edge and didn't pack/fill the middle correctly. Any experts out there, please let me know your thoughts. Need some technical reasons so I can speak intelligently to this instead of just "looks like Sh**" In all honesty, I don't want this fixed, I want it ripped out and done right. One of the images shows the same issue on small front patio (side view) The driveway was perfect. I really think the footers being uneven + lazy subs are the root of this. Lemme know your thoughts.
