    mtchockey30,

Start by lightly clamping the two low pressure lines at the housing to prevent oil from draining out of the system when the filter is removed, small vise grips work the best. Have a tray or rag ready when the filter is removed to catch oil that will spill from the filter when removed. Put some fresh oil (Mobil 1 syn. 15W-50) on the new filters gasket, and in the new filter before installing to limit the amount of air in the system. Add a little oil to the hydro tank for the oil that was lost when removing the old filter. Follow the bleed procedure in the owners manual to get out any air that was introduced into the system.
