How do you change the rear deck height on a 48" bobcat w/b gear drive. Its from the 90's and is there anyway to get it to throw grass farther. Thanks!

I would assume on a fixed deck you change the height at the rear wheels, there is a bolt on either side that goes through one of an array of holes... The further UP the bolt, the lower the deck, and vice versa: As you get towards the bottom holes, the height differences get smaller. Look up underneath the rear where the transmission is, look up under there on the sides and you should see the holes thou you can also see it from the outside of the mower, sometimes they're hard to spot. It takes a bit of time and you really need a jack to help you raise and lower the machine, also make sure both wheel bolts are going through the same hole and make the change ONE hole at a time.

As for the grass thing, remove the spring that holds the chute down so you can flip it over onto the deck (but you best have the cover in place) or remove the chute but you do that at your own risk.
