How do you charge from someone who wants their yard cut "every other week".

ALL my EOW lawns do not ever fertilize, so I merely charge $10 extra for lawns <$35/weekly and an extra $15 for >$40/weekly. Yeah, there sometimes a tougher mow here and there, but when it's full-fledged crabgrass season in August is when I need to keep an extra close eye on these and moving them to weekly will become necessary to contain the crabgrass growth.

And FWIW, I will not double cut these EOW lawns, nor has there ever been a need to - short of rapidly growing crabgrass when I'll subsequently shift them to weekly.

Lucky or not, these (easier-going??) EOW folks are great customers that are electing to save a few bucks...but also don't balk at any changes to this schedule when circumstances dictate going to weekly mowing. As stated before, these are ideal for filling my Monday schedule as the weekly folks are more apt to desire mowing closer to the weekend - on Wed's, Thur's or Fri's.

Roughly 30% to 40% add'l. And we will not push mow EOW.

We try to teeter the line from a logical standpoint where weekly actually makes more sense from a value standpoint. For a few bucks more, they can have a nicer looking weekly manicured lawn.

Non-fertilized EOW lawns do not grow twice as much as weekly-cut fertilized lawns, right?
Other than 'some' weeds at 'some' particular times of the year (like crabgrass in Aug here), these lawns are not a big deal. YMMV in your region.

Seems to me the EOW customers are even more appreciative & kind, though they are "less apt to tip" at the end of the season. Simple economics.
