I pick it up and put it by their front door.

I've mow around it now. Then go back with the trimmer and make the perimeter extra short so it is extra noticeable. "You missed a spot..."

Just dropped 2 clients this year because of dog crap. I will no longer take on clients that own dogs. It’s alwAys a pain. They don’t respect the lawn maintenance get rid of them. Work always pops up when you least expect it. Don’t be afraid to let them go because you have bills to’ll get a replacement. Believe me, it’s not worth the headache, the headache of scraping it off your tires or shoes, or hitting it with your trimmer, tracking it into your enclosed trailer or truck....oh not to mention when you do run it over and pick it up with your blades, don’t still gotta clean the underside of your deck frequently. Dump them fast! You won’t regret it!

Like I have stated elsewhere on the forum I just started in the business and I deal with a lot of poop! I have one customer who has 3 dogs... one being a Great Dane and another being a Rotwielder. It is a weekly cut so I was thinking about adding an extra $10 for the season. I love dogs but having to pick up about 5 pounds of poop is no fun at all.

I charge $5.00 more. I have work boots in the trailer that are just that. After a property I put my sneakers on to ride to the next property, then put my boots back on. Maybe I lose a minute or two lacing up my boots. Better than having dog chit in my truck.
