    Ok. I know this is stupid. I admit it. But I have noticed that other landscapers hold the bars to their ztr differently then I do.

    I use my left hand to hold both bars in the middle (control both with my one hand) and the right hand on angle portion to maintain a bit more control. (this is on, of course, a dixie chopper) ---- [please ignore the "."s, they were necessary for the centerization of the handlebars .. yes, those are supposed to be handlebars]

    ............left hand
    ../.......................\........<------- right hand here

    I tried left hand on the left handle and right hand on the right handle, but found that very ineffecient.

    this is stupid, but what do you guys do? Just curious.

    Nice drawing. :D

    I understood it completely too. I operate mine just like you do and I feel it is much easier to drive straight doing it like you do. It also frees up your right hand to operate the OCDC, Throttle, or swat Deer Flies. ;)

    I steer my chopper the same way. I can turn left with one hand,
    but right turns require both hands.

    The only Z's I am familiar with at the ones when sleeping - I have a steering wheel, and here it is

    Left Hand
    ===steer wheel=

    ==E== < Right Hand

    I hold my hands on the 45 deg. with the grip slightly in my hands. Tried it the way you guys do but it's hard to break a habit (especially when it is so comfortable). Maybe that's why my stripes look like "S" curves compared to Eric's. :)

    I run my Lazer Z the same way stick9. I seem to be able to cut very straight lines that way. I have tried using the sticks in each hand and it is harder to keep it straight. :) ;) :) ED

    I guess sometimes I use one hand to control, other times I put both hands on the levers but they are close enough to touch.

    Since I got my "Director" I have been running one handed more often.

    I use both hands. ;)

    each hand on each lever. Once the blades are engaged I don't need to do anything else. No OCDC, mulching kit on to keep grass from flying into beds.
