Can anyone tell me how to test the Hustler fastrak safety system? In particular: 1. seat switch, 2. park brake/control arms and 3. to switch. I appreciate any help. Thanks,.

1. Get up off seat when mower is running w/o brake engaged.
2. W/ park brake engaged, try and go forward or backward.

Sorry, item 3 was pto switch. I am generally talking about tests with a multimeter. I am having a no start switch. I have just about ruled everything out, so I am looking to make sure safety switches are ok.

Did you check the fuse?
Is the connector to any of the switches a deutsch connector?

Very common in just about everything.

yes. it is very similar to that.

Yer best bet is to snag ya a wiring diagram from the Hustler site. Usually in the parts manual.
Could be a bad relay or interlock module.

I rely more on a 12v test light, rather than a meter. Easier and faster.
