How many weekly customers did you have after 5 years?

Also where were you on the number of weekly customer numbers at the end of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and, 4th years.

It would also help if you can say where you operate and if it is city, suburbs, or rural.

I can't really remember the fifth year but I think it was around 8? We are rural and about 1/2 hour from more populated towns......

I'm going into my second year of business. This first year I ended with 16 mowing clients and 8 Fert/weed control customers. I'm in a city with 55k residents.

    Suburbs of a small city...

    End of year 1 - 4 lawns
    End of year 2 - 17 lawns
    End of year 3 - 35 lawns
    End of year 4 - 65 lawns

And that's where I currently lie so more or less doubled each year.

I don't know the numbers, but what I do know it that it took 5 yrs to build a good customer base. A base of solid customers where I just do things that need to be done and send a bill.

Not sure on exact yearly mow customer increase but just finished 8th year and we are at 120.
More importantly all our prices are very competitive for our area.
    # of customers doesn't nearly compare with profit at the end of the year!
