how important is business name?

    Oops...OK, my bad on this one. Perhaps an urban legend. Just a case where Dennys bought out the Sambos Restaurants. :confused:

    I know, I was just backing you up with some supporting internet documentation.

    Sambo's did change names but they never changed to Denny's.

    OK....So apparently I was right to the extent that some people did have an issue with the restaurant's name "Sambo" being racially offensive to blacks.

    You were right and wrong.

    Sambo's did change their name because some people found it offensive.

    Sambo's did not change their name to Denny's.

    I see them alot. Orange tractors. They are based about an hour south of me near the PA/MD line.

    Yes a name is important. Tons of LCOs around here using initials, last names, etc. I went with mine because I have long last name, and if i grow the business and decide to sell way down the road, its easier to sell if my name isnt attached to the business name.
