how long after applying a premerg

    You will have better luck in the fall reseeding.

    If you have to ask this question.:confused: maybe think about doing some research before applying chemicals. Not trying to bash on you.... just trying to make you realize how important your knowledge is to do such job! :weightlifter:

    t depends on the means of applicationfor the seed. If the soil is re-worked after the Pre-M is settled, then it reaks the vapor barrier, and seed will grow. I don't recommend tilling, but a shallow scathing IS necessary.

    thanks for the help. look i ask questions on here to learn. i've never dealt with reseeding. i'm learning as quickly as possible. thanks everyone else for responding with an actual answer to my question. i know i have a lot to least i'm not out there trying to act like a know what i'm doing and ruining yards. i ask questions on here to learn not get humiliated. thanks kyle.

    The answer is.....

    It depends on the rate of application of the preemergent. That is the only way you will know.

    For example Barricade can last from 60 days to 8 months depending on how much is applied.

    I recommend that you read your pre-m label. I'm sure it says on there about reseeding. We have reseeded areas before, but we brought in new topsoil. If your talking the whole yard then you are looking at 12 weeks.
