I'm looking at enclosed trailers, I was wondering what is the average size that everyone used. I was think 7 by 14 for my jd 717 and my wright stander 32 along with push mowers and all other equipment. What size do you have and does it work for you is it to small to be? Let me know your thoughts !!

I have an 8 x 20 and I've never wished for a smaller trailer. There have been several occasions where I could have used a couple more foot of space.

Having said that I believe that an 8 x 20 is as large as I would go for my purposes. I can get three big riders in it.

I have a 7X16....I suggest a 8X16 ...8X20 would be nice, but sometimes the 16 is hard to find a place to park...

My trailer now is a 18 ft open landscape trailer, I will be keeping this trailer for my bigger mowers. I was wanting a enclosed trailer for the every day use, I dont use the big mowers every day. Do you guys think the 14 will be big enough for the JD 717 and the 32 Wright stander and all the other equipment or should I go with the 16 ft. Do you kow of any trailer companies that have an enclosed trailer for mowers/landscapers with the vents etc. Thanks

I have a 7x16 with a 3 foot v nose. I like it but i wouldn't mind a foot more in width for my mowers. also i wouldn't mind about another 3-4 feet in length. If i had it to do again i would buy a 8x20. NOT any bigger than that though. I have a Down2Earth and i have had 0 prblems and they can custom build you a trailer. Mine has 2 vents and also has 3 fuel doors to pass the pump thru. One in the front for my built in transfer tank and two others one on each side. A great investment pull the trigger on one and you won;t have second thoughts.

We use the 16 x 8 and I would have to highly recommend it as well. We checked with a lot of our local lawn care businesses before we bought and this was pretty much the standard, besides the larger companies that use the 20 x 8 's due to the amount of mowers they haul around.

I was looking last night on the net and found some different ideas. I know I want to go as wide as possible and probably 16 ft. Now I just have to find one that I like ! Thanks again I'll keep you guys posted.
