I'm bidding on a place that has a open, flat space 100'X100' to cut.
How long to cover it with a relatively slow 38" Z?
The open space is throwing me for a  since I don't have anything else with that much open space.

I just need a quick reference to use so I can add it in to the rest of the bid.

You should be able to mow that in NO MORE than 20-30 minutes tops. Probably get done sooner than that but don't know how slow you mean by slow.

There are a lot of factors involved.

What kind of grass is it?
    Is it weedy?
    How fast does it grow?
How low are you going to cut it?
Are you going to mulch, bag or discharge?
    Just how slow is slow?
What kind of quality is the customer looking for?
    Is it irrigated?

    Mostly weed free
    depends on rain, etc.
    slower than most good ZTR's
quality is not a major issue, it's a 4-plex and the owner lives 3 hrs away
no irrigation, probably not fert. either

At 3 mph I figured it would take about 16 minutes. So I would say about 15-20 minutes.
