A striped lawn looks nice but how long does it last? I keep reading about it everywhere on Lawnsite but I was wondering why do it if it is gone the next day.

believe it or not I have had stripes stay on the lawns (although faint) through the winter and into next spring

Only last till the party is over, or you run out of money

ive got one lawn that i can definatly see stripes from 4 weeks ago....turf stand is about 1.5 acre rectangle so i can stripe in just about and pattern imagineable.

my stipes lawn all winter no problem...on the last cut i usually stripe in the most appeling direction so it will be visible all winter long...as long as there is no snow.

mine will last all winter too.. During the summer they usually last until you run 2 weeks in opposite directions, and if the first ones are still visible it usually looks pretty weird
