Outside of Blade Changes, Motor Oil, Greasing, Air Cleaners...etc...
I do all of my own repairs, spend enough on parts alone.
Same here. Doing it myself keeps from having to pay the $65/hour shop rate.
No one touches my machines but me....no matter what it is.
At $75 an hour around here. You figure out how to fix your own stuff. (plus I used to work at a small engine show when I was a kid. So I have a pretty good knowledge of this stuff anyways)
Alot of the Stuff I do but messing with the elctrical stuff I won't touch.
i fix everthing but electrical, and i cant weld...(bad eyesight) but anything mechanical, if i cant fix it it aint broke
I do when I can figure out what's wrong with f*#%@^g thing!
Always have repaired my own equipment and saved lots of money by doing it myself.
I try. But my lawn mower/small engine guy is really good to me so sometimes I take it to him.
