how many lawns to u have to be cutting to make a liveing?
let me be the first to tell you that question means nothing.
I cut 33 properties and did ok.
Jim Lewis cuts something like 200 and he does better than ok
TJ cuts over 2000 and he does quite well.
I know someone who only had one account and net income was $55,000. Of course it was a 500 unit mobile home park. Of course when he lost the account things were not so good.
The number of lawns is irrelevent. The amount of money you get paid minus the amount you spent doing them, that is what is important.
Just one that will pay you 100k a year.
enough to make enough to live on.
totally agree. I don't have that many customers, but a lot of my customers are full package deals.
So far you guys are correct. I know of a huge company in my area that has like 30 some employees. They have about 50 accounts and make a killing. Some of there accounts take a 3 man crew six hours. So as you can see, the number of lawns you have can't really answer your question, you have to base it on your desired income.
A whole lot less at your 15 than at my 46, that's for sure.
depends what you call "making a living"
to me it isnt the lawns. Its how much money you need to cover expences and make a frofit.
750.....give or take.
