What is the going rate for mulch installed in the northeast.
General rule of thumb that I see on this site and what I do is, + -, $80/yard for high quality hardwood mulch.
It all depends on volume, type of mulch, how much prep work, and how easy is it to lay.
I charge $65 a yd installed, min of 4 yds. ANything that needs to be done to beds, cleanup, edging ect is all a seperate fee.
I charge $55 a yrd plus a $50 delivery fee for anything less than 9 yrds which is one trip.So 1yrd is 105, 2yrds is 80per yrd, 3yrds is 72per yrd, 4yrds is 67.50per yrd and so on till nine yrds. I will do some raking around the edges at no charge but any more than that is extra.
I will deliver 9yrds for $35per yrd plus the $50 for delivery
