$8/bale and $60/yard. It all depends on the area and your costs.

Pine straw is cheap in Georgia, as likely most of the SC guys are buying straw produced in our state and there is a larger product distribution charge there, meaning, they probably can't get a bale of fresh clean straw for $3/bale unless they buy the entire trailer load of 1000+ bales. We stopped doing pine straw 2 years ago, and referred the work to the farm producer. Its a pain in the butt, itchy, pockets itself, and not very profitable in the market considering the amount of people coming straight from the farm. Their charge is less than mine, and clients can afford more money for other work.

We do most harwood mulches for $58/yard. Cypress is $62/yard installed.
