If the grass is perfectly dry, my JD 636/Wright Intensity stripes very well. However if I have to cut in the damp or wet, it quickly packs up under the deck, and starts spitting wads. The 7iron on my 994 on the other hand just keeps working (both mowers using OEM high lifts).I did read a couple of ZK manuals today. Read an ‘08 and a 2023. Both said to “scrape the deck 2x a day, and even more if the turf is lush or wet.” Do you do that? I am guessing (just a guess) that the Wrights I saw leaving the wet grass looking terribly, didn’t follow the Bibe…. Excuse me….. the operator’s manual…. Like they should. I think that’s where I’d have a problem with Wright decks - scraping 2x a day - that’s crazy - but it could explain what I’m seeing. I never do that with my Scags. If it’s really thick and wet, I’ll scrape once before I start my day (whether I need to or not) at the end of the day or in the am before I start.
Never tried that Steve, but now I'm down to just two properties where I have to use it the rest are fine with the 60.Have ou tried dropping the rpm's a bit on the 636 to see if it helps. Exmark recommends doing so when wet. Seems to help a bit. Not a solution though..
There's no point stressing about it. Looks like he's going to continue doing what he does like he has in the past. Put him on ignore and let him carry on, worry free.WOT - that’s what he does. Been watching him for quite awhile. He’s guilty of that. And he’s allowed to do it it. I’ve been trolled by him multiple times.
As the saying goes, don't feed the troll.WOT - that’s what he does. Been watching him for quite awhile. He’s guilty of that. And he’s allowed to do it it. I’ve been trolled by him multiple times.
No that won't work because he'll go running crying to the mods that you are picking on him. Only thing that will work is ignore and don't engage. Don't get dragged down into the mud with him.Always felt like he got a pass, or more rope, so to speak. But based on this response, it sounds like the rest of us who are sick of his tactics have free reign to be tough on him and things he says we don’t agree on. Interestingly, one of my responses was deleted. No explanation. And curiously, it was nowhere near as abusive as some of Ripps posts.
