$1200-$1600 based on condition. Used 36" mowers in good condition are hard to find. Lots of junk old ones around. That mower was $2000-$2200 new plus tax.

I sold my first metro 36 at the beginning of the season for $1300.00. I had bought it for $1300.00 with the grass gobbler. The buyer did not get the gobbler, I held onto that one for my 36 Metro HP that I bought after I purchased the Metro. I just wanted to get the floating deck.
The mower that I sold was a 2002 and in excellent shape had only around 50 hours on it.

I would agree with these figures.

Okay, so it's somewhere between $800 and $1,600. Does that help? This poor guy may as well have asked where the lost city of Atlantis is. I doubt I'd pay more than $1,300 for the machine simply because depreciation would kill about that much of the value, hours of use notwithstanding.

So Nick, Whats he asking. No way I'd give close to $1600 for it. Yazoo/Kees has 36" 13 horse Kawasaki for $1899(MSRP is 2675) got a flyer last week.
