How much water should my clients be getting to thier lawn when the weather is already over 100*? I know the typical is like 1/2" every 7 days but doesn't it change when it gets that hot?

I have always been under the impression that a normal lawn should get between 1.5" and 2" per week. But I guess that will vary a little depending on what type of grass it is.

Well that's what I'm trying to figure out. Is there any one else that can help us? I was thinking an inch or so.

However much it takes to keep it green. 0 to 5 inches. All depends on grass type, soil type , flat, hilly, shaded, etc.
