For 5 hours spring clean up and putting down 110 bags
of mulch. The guys wanted cypress mulch so we had
to buy it for 2 dollars a bag. Couldn't get it in bulk.
Just checking my estimate after the fact.

Only you know how much you need to charge. Maybe I would charge $1000. Does that mean you will too?? If you cant figure out how much to charge, you are hurting yourself & making yourself look pathetic in front of thousands of people on this site!!

Well you have 10 man hours for the clean up alone, so i would presume you would use your hourly rate aside from any equipment costs and overhead that may be included(everyones is different). As far as the mulch im not sure about the mark-up(100%) but figure your hourly rate for each yd/mulch installed, and costs of course, im not sure exactly how to do it by the bag but im sure that way would work. If you charge lets say 50/yd for bulk mulch then so be it for the bagged just figure it up add the man hours for the clean -up and the mulch price and give the estimate. I would however recommend keeping the prices seperate(clean-up and the mulch).
    Hope this helps a little.

I would charge $650.00. If that helps you any. Here is how I am billing out mulch/clean ups. Labor- 3 man crew $50hr, Mulch -$60 yard installed. That is what I am telling potential customers, also if no 'waste area' on proerty $25 dump fee per truck full.

SJR.....having a bad day I take it? Was just looking
for some advice. Only have done mowing before, first
year we've went full time mowing and landscaping. You
    need to relax.

Thank you others for you opinions.

I'd be around $850 give or take from other info like 2 cubic ft bags or 3 ?, Haul away refuse from cleanup or pile on property ? How far had to wheel bags to beds ?

2 cu. ft. on the bags. Not very far to haul bags.....50
yards perhaps for the farthest bed.

We hauled away all the leaves and twigs which filled
the bed of the truck and a good bit of the 16ft

What do you usually charge for disposal?

As I suspected, I undercharged for
this spring clean up and mulch job, but it was our first estimate on this type of work.

    We charged 650 plus tax.
