how much would you pay for this?

It's a 4 year old Bluebird aerator, with a honda engine, looks very clean and well maintained, its from a local rental company. The guy said he didn't want to sell it because it was well maintained every season, but if I make him a good offer he will sell it... But I have no clue what price..

18'' or 30" model ? 500-2,000 would be my range... depending on model and condition.

I think the new ones go for 3000$, so if its used and had 4 years on it.. I was thinking around 1000$.
