How To Learn Designing?

    i dont know anything about irrigation. here in our area people think irrigation is just 4 farm land, but i do have a guy who wanted to know if i could install a system 4 him. what is the best way to learn? i dont want to tell him no because i want to do the rest of the landscape. any advice?

    Find a good subcontractor nearby. Locate a local sprinkler supply house and they should be able to recomend someone.

    Or e-mail me a site plan and I might bid it. Looks like your about 3 hours from where I house trailer and trencher. :)

    1. Trench time apprenticing with a master irrigator.
    2. College or other appropriate classes to learn hydraulics.
    3. Manufacturer sponsored seminars.
    4. Classes that teach the relationship between water/soil/plant relationships.
    4. Books for simple systems. Books for advanced theory.

    As you can see there are plenty of places for a starting point.
