What's a good starting price to charge for yards? I know it depends on the size of the yard, but what is a good base price per man/hour? And what should be charged as extra?:(

this has been beaten into the ground with sledgehammer many times.... but... most guys operate around $1/min with commercial grade equipment. Another factor is the area, some area's of the town/county/state/country will tolerate a higher cost of lawn care than others.

whatever pays well for you hourly and covers machinery, gas, insurance, etc.

You should also have a minimum per yard, so if you have a small yard that takes 15 minutes to cut most people will have a minimum of $25 or $35 just to drop the gate.
