just what it says... what wires do i jump or how?????
Go to the Kohler website: http://www.kohlerengines.com/manuals/landing.htm
Punch in your numbers an download a free service or owners manual. Should have all the info ya need!
Dont jump any wires.
Do you have a light on the machine? I hear some new machines they arent installing one so thats why I ask.
If you have a light, turn the key on and off 3 times and then it will start spitting out the codes. If you dont have a light, you would need to hook one up or get the laptop cable/software.
All the info on codes is in section 5.b or 5.c or something of the service manual available at kohlerplus.com
That's on and off 3 times and leave it on the third time.
I just did mine to confirm the procedure and it spit out 3 codes. It's been running just fine but has been using a lot of gas. The codes are 31,34 and 61.
Code 31 is the 02 sensor and 34 means the computer is in open loop. 61 means it's done with codes.
But I made a mistake. I checked the codes with the engine cold. Never do that. You'll get the improper codes.
