I need to change the belt on my Toro 22156, the old Lawnboy.

I can't figure out how to remove the belt guard and there's no mention of it in the manual.

    Can anyone help me out?

is that the guide by the spindle? remember dealing with with 3 bolts that went up in to the housing and engine. or on the rear assy, (most likley) where first dealt with 3 screws, 2 of them were right next to each other with all 3 under deck, they were hard to spot at first but they were there. needed a sq bit driver for them, they came out pretty easy and with them out i remember being able to pop out the rear assy (that holds the mulch plug) and then had access to the drive assy.. not sure what drive u got, models from 2007 but the bracket assy (3 screws again, sq. bit driver, in bracket that cover tranny pulley)) on the drive that i removed to get to the belt. i'm thinking maybe could be another way to access the dr by removing the part the bag hangs on to and slopes down towards engine but idk, didn't have that part off and forget where it's tied in to the mower, not sure.
