this probably only applies to sthil BR owners. behind the body of the blower and the back pad, there are two springs on the bottom and one of the top that sort of take out the vibration of the blower. i took mine off the trailer tonight and noticed that i somehow BROKE one of the springs. anyone else ever have this happen? it's only about 3.35 for the replacement, just wondering how i did it.

Happened to me to last yr. Dont knoe why it broke guess it was just weakened by two seasons of taking the vibration. (easy fix)

I just bought the same blower.

I think the reason it broke is becuz everytime u put it on the spring bounces (streches) and it weakens over time.

    It's doing it's job. Better a $3 spring than something else.:D

We've had it happen to ours. Seems like they get three years or so on them and that top spring goes. I just think of it as a wear item. Like you said it is only $3. No big deal.
