Horrid idea and waste of money. Now I'm looking at complete catch basin rebuilds because the concrete pinched a bunch of perforated pipe off. It also made water pockets away from the catch basin itself. Simple extra thing like that might make for a complete rebuild of a parking lot. All you have to do is finish backplaster at the end of the job no cracks.

You can't run a machine for 20 bucks an hour and have any money left over to support yourself. Well, at least those of us that don't live at home with mom and dad can't.

Even if your truck was paid for, the machine was paid for, to legitimately run a business taxes and insurance must be paid. Taxes take at least 20% right off the top, so $20 an hour just turned into $16/hr. You're telling me you can pay insurance on the truck and business liability, fuel for truck to transport, maintenance of truck and machine, and fuel for the machine on $16/hr. AND have anything left over to feed yourself and keep a roof over your head? You're dreaming, big time.
Totally right whoever is charging that had no older head and has no brains how is he going to fix his machine when it breaks. A tire alone is over a hundred fifty bucks. Just wait when the dudes machine breaks or when he needs to get tires he won't be in business long that's like crackhead prices LOL
