Hunter SRV & PGV Valves

    Could I get some opinions on these 2 valves by people using them, diaphrams, solenoids good? Have they been a reliable valve out in the field.

    Not a big fan of them. Solenoids had problems, but I think they are fixed now. Not sure. Diaphragms were very easily damaged by grit and causing seeping.

    Also, some of them had a won't-open-completely problem.

    If using Hunter I would use the HPV. Stay away from the SRV. Most of the problems mentioned above have been corrected.

    The HPV ( Hunter plastic Valve) is a damn good valve. I use them a lot on installs where the system will run off of well water.
    The other 2 are junk in my opinion.
    On city water I always use a RB 100 dv
