The kill switch on my 545FR is no longer killing the engine so I just choke it out but would like to fix this proper. I tested the switch for continuity and the switch does complete the connection. I examined as much of the wiring as I could see and no damage is apparent. Checked continuity with switch activated and testing the ground where the wiring bolts to the cylinder and all tests good. Ground bolt is tight. Is the ignition coil likely bad in my case? I've never had a malfunctioning kill switch before so I don't want to waste money and time on a new part if it still could be something else.
