My friend is looking at getting one of the two models.. The mini fastrak is listed 900 $ore than the sport.. Is it worth the extra money for the mini fastrak? Also if the sport would be better its a 500 doillar extra option for the honda motor.. Any advice would be helpful.. Thanks

If you are getting the sport there is nothing wrong with the briggs, But I would recomend the honda just because its twin cylinder and its more balanced. The Mini fastrack will be good if your friend is wanting something a bit more heavy duty. But both are good mowers.

I'm with MOHUSTLER here the SPORT has been a great unit for us. Last year we sold a ton of SPORTS with BRIGGS Engines, with next to NO problems. The 17.5 and 21hp Intek and Pro series engines have always been good engines but updated and improved in later years. Of course we sold more Briggs units that can be accessorized with LOW TONE Mufflers from BRIGGS, and Hour meter, Light Kit, Rear Bumper, Mulch Kits and Baggers all available from HUSTLER. But the Honda does offer a much smoother operating machine, that is much quieter and has a 3 year warranty. And the Honda unit does come standard with the Rear Bumper. The Mini Fastrak is like a beefed up version of our SPORT and worth the extra money. Your friend just needs to weigh the options and see what fits his need and wallet.
