I have a customer who has 8 Hydrangeas planted along the front of her house and all but one did not flowered this year. The others are all healthy and green and look great but just did not flower. The past years they all flowered and never had a problem.

What kind of hydrangeas? Most flower from old wood, some flower from new wood. Could have been incorrectly pruned... was any alumimun sulfate put down? fert?

They were pruned back too far last year - I guarantee it.

This year see that you just prune off the dead flowers only - nothing else. I bet you anything next year they'll be full of blooms.
