Ive got a Bobcat model 2500 breaker that i picked up from a friend, he wants me to keep it since i will use it 2 times a month vs his 1 time every year. the trouble is the diaphragms need to be replaced. i have pulled the front and rear diaphragms, but am having a heck of a time trying to pull the bolt on the top of the breaker. Has anyone gone through this before? maybe tips on what worked well to pull that bolt loose. ive soaked in PB blast, tried 6' cheater bars, 1" impact, i thought of using a 48" pipe wrench and somehow utilizing the hydraulic power of the CTL to break it loose (chain wrench to tree or something) If i can get this thing running for a few hundred bucks it sure will be handy to keep around.
