I've read alot about dump bed inserts but did not see anything on pick-up bed dump conversions. What is your thoughts?? Are they tough enough? I have a F-250 4x4.

There are posts on that subject. The consensus is that the bed is not designed to lift alot of weight in that manner. The bed would need some serious reinforcement to keep it from flexing, and from the hoist punching through with a heavy load. I know a loadhandler is not a dump bed, but they do a pretty good job, and add little to no weight to an already heavy truck. More payload capacity!

Thanks for the reply but I've desided to go with an insert based of your reply and others previously posted

I am sure you will be very happy with your decision. Everyone I know that has used an insert has been thrilled.

    Take care
