I have a JD HD 45 and I just traded up from a belt drive. When I hit the break lever to go right it slows way down. To the point where I think it may stop. Not so bad when pulling a left turn though. The hydro lubricant is at the right level, so what could it be? I'm new to the hydro system so I'm a little green on the mechanics of it. Should it be slowing right down?

Thanks

NCSERVICE,

Thats right, It slows down when hitting the right break to turn right, but isn't to bad when pulling a left. It pulls a straight line OK, don't have a problem there. The hydro lubricant is at the right level. No leaks it seems.

rodfather,

The machine is new. I take it you mean the air filter right? I have had the machine for about 2 weeks now.

Thanks guys

No, I was referring to the filter for the pump. But if it's a new machine, that's not your problem. IMO, I would take it into the dealer and let them figure it out. Those hydros are expensive and if you don't know what you're doing, you are better off not screwing around with them.
