Hey guys, was wondering about changing the hydraulic oil in my 52" Stander. Machine was bought new in 2005, has about 2,000 hours on it now, and I'm looking to do a full service on the machine to hopefully get another season out of it. Is it a matter of just draining and re-filling it and changing the filter? Just looking to do more service and repairs in house this year. Thanks in advance

That's about it but, Always fill the new filter(s) with oil before installing, Once the system is re-filled raise and block the drive wheels off the ground. Start the engine and run about 3/4 throttle, Move the controls full forward then full reverse slowly 8 to 10 times then re-check fluid level.

Set the unit on the ground and test run. I use this method on all brand units with no problems.

You can get the procedure from the owners manuals from Wrights website. www.wrightmfg.com
Do as rob said but open dump valves and cycle the system for a few minutes at 3/4 throttle first. If you cycle the f/r handles with the dump valves on the pumps open you will purge the air from the pumps first. Then close the dump valves and repeat.

Careful with tires. I would suggest sticking with Carlisle. Or change both at once.
