Just take it to a hydralic shop. It'll be cheaper than you're dealer

I'm pretty sure they had a recall on this and they will fix it for free at the dealer. Not a 100% sure. Had the same problem but under warranty from dealer so I was good either way.

lawnsaspire, sorry should have explained it better than I did.Thought it was a flair fitting that is sealed when the flair nut compresses the flair to the mating surface.Looks like you have plenty of help now.

Got the fitting from parts tree and put it in today. The hose was not crimped to the fitting so there was no need to replace the hose assembly. The o ring had a tear which Allowd oil thru. I was glad I ordered a whole new part though bc it is a newer less bulky design. I'm guessing this is bc of the aforementioned recall. Thanks.

    Hi

Old post I know but hoping for some help. Just purchased a secondhand V-Ride 36, with 230 hours.

It has a leaky fitting near pump as discussed above. Wanting to know if just the 45 elbow fitting from the pump to hose was the fix,
or will I need a new hose as well?

    Cheers

I Sold My V Ride A Couple Yrs Ago, But all I Needed Was The Elbow Fitting. Usually Its Just the O Ring Inside Needing replaced. Not Sure If You Have To Drain The WHole System Or Not But I Never Did. Just Topped It off With the HEavy Oil Suggested. I Think ITs 20-50. Sorry ABout All The Caps . Not SUre why The Kindle Is Doing That.

Ok , thanks very much .. Just that the manual didn't show a O ring .. I should just take it apart and see for myself .. But nice to know how others went with it .. Cheers .. Did you put many hours on v ride , any good ?

Over 900. Had To Replace The Engine At 700 Hrs. That Sucked. It Was Fun To Use, But I Only Mow Small Lawns Now.
