I found a deal on this mower and couldn't pass it up. Purchased an 07 Husqvarna IZ4217 with just over 300 hours for 2400.00. I know its not top of the line, but the price was nice and the mower is pretty clean. I will post pictures tomorrow and you tell me was it worth it?

That was a great deal. I am a husqvarna dealer and that mower retails for $6699 new.

It started raining so I had to cut the pictures short. I though this was a great deal though. I know its not a toro, exmark, or scag. But in all the machine seems to be pretty solid. I winded up negotiating, new blades, the mulching kit and an extra ROPS for $2300.00. The mower has 323 hours on it, so barely broke in. Now I need to find a nice stander.

Not overly familiar with Husqvarna but seems like you got a great price on a very low hour mower

Thanks, I heard mixed reviews about Husqvarna. The motor and low hours is what sold me. In reality you have to replace most of the same things on all mowers at some point. It is just a matter of how often or when. The nice thing is from what I have read it has the same Hydros as toro. Have not verified yet! But this is a perfect Newb to a ZTR. I can throw a helper on it and not lose any sleep over it.

I rented one of those while my Exmark was in the shop; did an adequate job. I would'nt buy one new, but $2400 will make it a spare unit on my trailer. Notice yours has a mulching plate. I'd say you got a fantastic deal.
