I have the ADI bible, its pretty good, it gives a lot of behind the scenes information, some short odd-ball stories and is graphic intense. it's also printed on waterproof paper and is tear resistant too. I would recommend taking some build a pond classes before you dive into a pond. I've done 5 or 6 now and both regular, advanced and pondless ones. I just completed my first pond on my own today. (no pics, forgot the camera).

Thanks guys!!!!! It took about 4-5 days to build, it was just me doing the construction most of the time, my pops helped out a lil.

Its an 8' X 11' with the signature 2500 biofalls, ADI 3000gph pump, automatic waterfill valve, 2 underwater lights, 2 waterfall lights, a 150 watt transformer.
I've been working on the landscaping and drip irrigation.
    Here's some more pics.
